Information for Participating in Paid Experiments:
1) You should arrive at the experiment no later than the time it is scheduled to start (preferably a few minutes before). Most experiments take the entire time that they are scheduled. Therefore, if you are late by 10 minutes or more, you will not be able to participate or receive payment.
2) If you are more than 10 minutes late or do not show up at all, your account will reflect that you had a "no show" for an experiment. If you have an excessive number of "no shows" (i.e. 4 or more) your account may be closed or you may be prohibited from participating in some experiments.
3) There is a grace period such that if you are fewer than 10 minutes late but can not participate and thus can not be paid, you may receive a "no show", but it will not count toward the 4 or more that will put you in jeopardy of having your account closed.
4) In most cases, the experimenter will be there before the scheduled start time. However, if the experimenter is not there at the scheduled start time, please allow 10 minutes for his/her arrival before leaving and contacting him/her later about the issue.
